Health and dental

Three Manulife CoverMe plans.

Drugs, dental, and vision sit on Manulife CoverMe. Flexcare, FollowMe, and Guaranteed Issue Enhanced are the three choices. The right one depends on your health and whether a group plan just ended.

Manulife CoverMe

Flexcare

Healthy people who can answer a medical questionnaire.

You complete a medical questionnaire. A pre-existing condition can be excluded, the premium can be rated, or the application can be declined.

Higher maximums if you qualify. ComboPlus Enhanced goes up to $10,000 a year for prescription drugs. The rate is usually lower when you are healthy. It does not cover conditions you already have.

Tiers: DrugPlus, DentalPlus, ComboPlus

Manulife CoverMe

FollowMe

Someone whose employer or group benefits just ended.

Guaranteed acceptance, no medical questions, if you apply and pay within 90 days of the group plan ending. Eligible pre-existing conditions and current medications are covered.

It closes the gap after a job ends. Drug and dental limits sit in four tiers: Basic, Enhanced, EnhancedPlus, and Premiere.

Tiers: Basic, Enhanced, EnhancedPlus, Premiere

Manulife CoverMe

Guaranteed Issue Enhanced

Chronic conditions, and the FollowMe window has passed.

No questionnaire, no exam, and acceptance is guaranteed.

Pre-existing conditions can be covered, with lower caps. Prescription drugs are about $2,500 a year. The premium is higher for the amount of cover.
